When the first Mimosa plants arrived we didn’t quite know what we’d just gotten and it took quite a bit of effort to convince even one of our growers to take care of these saplings. After a trial run we saw the result and everyone instantly fell in love with Mimosa. Not only does Mimosa look amazing with dark green, blue, pink and purple tints. The taste and scent of this strain are also unheard of. This sativa dominant hybrid first appeared in 2017 and came from a crossing of Clementine and Purple Punch. The only downside of this strain is the limited yield. But the Dutchfem growers obviously found something for that. By crossing Mimosa with MadMax #33 we quickly found an exceptional pheno that enriches the original Mimosa colours as well as keeping the well known flavour and scent. The only difference that the crossing caused with Mad Max #33 is a big yield improvement.
The plants of MadMax Mimosa Feminized seeds are despite the sativa dominance easy to grow inside and reach the ideal height of 125cm to 150cm on pots of 10 to 15 litre after 3 weeks. On Hydro, and especially mapito, the plants can grow a little quicker and can reach 150cm a bit earlier. MadMax Mimosa has a nice dark green colour in which you can easily see the blue and purple tints. Also of note are the orange pistons present in some phenos which are absolute eye candy.
We’ve managed to keep the fruity flavour with citrus accents in MadMax Mimosa, we also kept the happy, uplifting and relaxed effect of the original Mimosa. With a THC amount of about 20% this strain is more suited for the experienced user and a true recommendation to try at least once.
